  3. I love the style and colors and of course the beautiful decorations raised in Chicago we lived on a street similar in design. Never really had a home again like this and now 77 brings back memories of tranquility and appreciation for the design and architecture of past wonderful comfortable home designs. When I was growing up we lost our older home designed similar to this my 3 sisters and I were home alone and apparently fire came down from the roof on a snowy cold night . If it weren’t for the men working across the street we would of been killed in the fire I heard a knock on the door and thought it was the back door. Went to open it and flames flew out at me as one man grabbed me and another pushed the door and of course this was during the holiday xmas season many of our gifts were destroyed as well as 1/2 of our home wood floors and many memories this is the home my mother and stepfather brought us home to from the orphanage. We survived thanks to neighbors during those terrible years . I would love to live in a homey comfortable change of seasons area.

  5. I volunteer to answer letters to Santa sent to North Pole. I have a family in need of help on their home. They live in Walkertown, NC. They need a roof, a working refrigerator, electrical work, garage door work & foundation work. I thought I write incase you have a contact in the area that can check out their situation and possibly provide some help to a family in need. This is not their first letter to Santa for this cause from this family, which makes me think they are feeling desperate.
